We are going to be getting notes about five 3-dimensional shapes....prism, cylinder, pyramid, cone, and sphere.
This extra credit project is:
1 Make each shape out of paper.
2. Measure the important dimensions.
3. Find the volume
4. Find the area.
Since there are 5 shapes, the minimum you may do to hand in is 3. Or do all 5 for maximum...I realize the sphere may be a challenge, but think about opening up an orange? Practice with one....it might give you some ideas...
