Last Post for the course!

My last question for you to respond to is this... to do for extra credit...
In this course, we started with lines and angles, discovered many things about triangles, worked on congruence and similarity. We went on to study quadrilaterals and then polygons. Our area formulas evolved into circles, with formula for area and circumference of circles. Lastly we had a small amount of time to learn about volume of 5 shapes and their surface areas.
To receive extra credit, this project will be due when you take your final exam, turned in before you take the test...
On one piece of paper, draw each of the 5 shapes we study (prism, cylinder, pyramid, cone, and sphere).
Give the dimensions of each shape and calculate both the surface area and volume of each.

Thank you for being a part of the class and the blog. Best wishes as you continue your journey through mathematics!
