Hello Term 3-ers!!!!
I decided to NOT delete the extra credit questions from term 1&2, but to leave them for you to look at. Instead I will pull my thoughts together and create some new questions for you to respond to. Our world is filled with interesting geometric concepts.
So....as we study angles in chapter 2 and 3, your first extra credit project is this: Look about your home, yard, neighborhood, or city. Take pictures of "things" which show parallel lines and special angle pairs that we have studied. Print the picture. Take a marker and show me the 2 parallel lines cut by the transversal and identify the angle pairs that make this picture interesting. I will take a maximum of 3 pictures from you for extra credit. I will ask you to present this to me or maybe the class if you want to. When you are finished, please post a note about what you took pictures of and why it was interesting enough for a picture. This is a fun project to do!
